Summit Huts Educational Scholarship Fund
Live Music! Silent and Live Auctions! Dinner and Drinks!
Don't let the name fool you, this Ball is fun, not fancy. The Backcountry Ball will be held at The Maggie Restaurant, located at the base of Peak 9 in Breckenridge, CO. Again this year, the Ball will feature silent and live auctions, door prizes, dinner, with live music by Ellwood Barrett and the Downhill Blues Band and dancing. The whole night promises to be lots of fun for a great cause and we hope you'll be there!
Last, the event raised over $7500 for the Summit Huts Association's Educational Fund. This money provides funding to offset the cost of backcountry hut nights for nonprofit and educational groups across the state. The proceeds also fund scholarships on a case-by case basis if a group is unable to afford an educational program at the huts.
